From April 24 to April 30, 2021, 49 tons of food were collected in an initiative by the São Paulo Aquarium to support the
NGO Gerando Falcões in mitigating the social effects of the pandemic.
The #AquárioContraFome campaign involved exchanging one ticket for 2 kg of non-perishable food.
The action exceeded expectations set by management and staff involved in developing the campaign; at least 4,000 families will benefit in Vila Prudente, Heliópolis, Jardim Sinhá (Sapopemba), Grajaú, and institutions such as Associação Cruz Verde and Casa de David.
